Awards: Del Mar 5000 top overall Male and Female runners will receive a pure 4oz Silver medal. Overall 2nd/3rd place will receive a beautiful commemorative pure Silver athletic coin set. Awards go 3 deep in each age-group. Awards ceremony will take place at the CCHS track stadium and will begin about 15 minutes after the last runner comes across the line (approximately at 9:30am).
Our Del Mar 5000 event will have 5 year age-groups male and female as follows:
12U,13-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75-79,80+
Amenities/Refreshments: We will have Finisher Medals for all finishers, goodie bags, Tech-T shirts and post-race refreshments (fruit, homemade muffins from Mimi’s Kitchen, Hammer Gel/Heed and water) for all competitors. We will also be giving away some great prizes from our sponsors!
Continental Breakfast: A free Continental breakfast will be provided by Mimi’s kitchen and made available to all entrants post-race!
