The World Famous Mud Run was my first mud run and no matter how many other mud runs I compete in I always hold them to Camp Pendleton! I have now run it 5 years in a row and every year it gets better. Hands down the most organized, well run event. The obstacles are not as challenging as some of the newer races, but the challenging terrain makes up for it. The past few years they have really ramped up the after party making it a day long party! You will park far from your car but the shuttle to the race is organized and runs smoothly, just don’t leave anything in your car! We always bring chairs and duffel bags to check.
