Fast and flat street course and also, there are a ton of great runners so good place to go for a competitive race if you’re a faster runner and a good place to go for a PR. This is one of the biggest 5K’s around so expect massive crowds. Parking can be really difficult so arrive early. Live bands and entertainment are a nice touch for those that enjoy this type of atmosphere. Afterward you can stick around for the annual Independence Parade.
