Ran this race last year and my goal was to finish. This year I hoped to do better and had my second best personal best. The day was beautiful but about 10 degrees warmer then I would have liked and since the folks putting on the race have nothing to do with the weather I can’t complain. 2011 was perfect weather. I am excited since I got faster the last three miles. But mile 6.5 to the turnaround really kicked my butt!
