Hubby and I have done this race the last two years. Here’s our take, good and bad: Packet pickup and registration easy; bike course is scenic, challenging and fun; run course is a little boring. Really like how they have structured the swim waves generally going from older to younger. Streets are blocked off and well manned by police. The SWAG is okay but the tech tees are the ugliest EVER. Post race could use some better grub- and last year spectators were helping themselves so some of the racers missed out. And their photographers choked last year- NO pictures on the bike and no apologies from either the race directors or the photo company! So, there it is. Overall a fun race that we would recommend!
