I really enjoyed the race and the cameraderie. The only thing I didn’t like about the experience was being preached to before the race. I understand that it is on church property and don’t mind a few nice words before the race, but I didn’t like that the preacher kept shushing the crowd. We paid to be there, so being shushed is insulting. That said, the race was a blast! I was covered head to toe at the finish. Be sure to get your shoes duct taped to your feet or you will likely lose them in the muck. So much fun!!!
