I’ve run 4 half marathons in the last year and this is my favorite BY FAR. For it being a INAUGURAL RACE they got it ALL RIGHT. The Expo was very well-put together and packet pick up was quick and easy. Having it IN PetCo Park was impressive and inspiring since you could SEE your finish line.
The PRE-RACE was great. FIRST RACE I”VE BEEN TO WITH WOMEN ONLY PORTAJOHNS! I was beyond excited to see that. The wave start was well-timed.
The Course was flat and fun and beautiful. They were fortunate to have gorgeous san diego weather. They had AMPLE portajohns on the course and the race volunteers and safety personell were phenomenal. The finish line was SO epic, and getting my medal placed on my neck by an attractive Naval Officer definitely added! Post-race fuel was well done and the Family fest was VERY well done.
I’ll be running this race again! I can’t hope for it to get any better!
