I did this race in conjunction with a family trip to SeaWorld. Perfect for that…hotel we stayed at was across from SeaWorld and just a short bike ride to the race. Not much to speak of at all in terms of pre or post race. No frills. The course was pretty good except I’m not a big fan of loops. The bike is 3 loops around Fiesta Island. Great place to ride but be ready to fight a little headwind (half the time). The run was relatively flat and not much to speak about. The people and atmosphere at the race was very good. A good vibe. Good “off season” destination race for those not living in SD. And probably a good local event for those living nearby.
