I ran the 2012 Half Marathon. The course was very scenic, but hilly, so don’t expect to PR. Several of the mile markers seemed to be off, especially miles 5 to 10. The pre-race communication was accurate and timely. The expo event was OK, but nothing special. Race-day organization was very good, but after the race there was really not that much to do…especially for so many people. You couldn’t even find liquid refreshment (even water) after exciting the finish chute) I preferred the Long Beach Half Marathon, they had a sponsored beer garden:)
