I’ve been to this race the last three years years and I love running near the beach. You get free parking with registration, which is great. They have a motivated MC getting the crowd going before the race too, which is very relaxing. Plenty f stuff to eat and drink before as well.
The course is flat which makes it easy to run, but it a bit boring because it’s on the street and you go out and back a few times (for the 10k this is extra boring), but I can always make good time because the course has no hills and the weather is cooler near the beach.
Post race is nice because they have have plenty of food and drink. I enjoy doing this race overall because of the atmosphere. They do have race day registration is case you decide last minute to do it. I wish this year they’d had more vendors.
