I stayed at a hotel near the start line, so I did not experience any of the traffic issues some people did. Pre-race, it was a bit hard to hear any announcements from the stage past the third corral, but the corrals and wave start were well organized. The course was definitely tough, but not not unexpected. Be prepared for the hill. Post-race seemed a tad bit disorganized. The medals were awesome, but there wasn’t a lot of signage to tell runners where to go to catch the shuttle and F&F seemed scattered throughout the secure area instead of in an easy line. Overall, for a inagural race, I thought it was well done and fun.
