I live a mile from the the starting line, so parking was a non issue. This was a great, fast, flat race that let me take in parts of Hollywood that I wasn’t familiar with, I usually run west instead of east and to the Reservoir.
Packet Pickup was relatively painless, the expo was a little small, but it is a smaller race than others I had been too, definitely not the smallest.
The start was well organized, though for some reason I was in Corral 13, and I am usually in the middle in a half, perhaps there were faster runners here? Either way, I was passing a lot of walkers the first part of the course. I really loved the course itself. The finish line was fun, though my only complaint was that I didn’t see any thermal blankets and I would have liked one since I was walking a bit further back home. Will definitely do this again next year!
