Pre-race: Packet pick-up was quick and easy, and there were lots of good vendors giving away free stuff! Parking at the expo was $10 or $15, but there was street parking a couple blocks away.
Course: I don’t know anything about the “killer hill” that they supposedly took away (I didn’t run this race last year), but there were still some really challenging hills! I’m glad there was plenty of water and gatorade along the course (I read a review that said they ran out of cups last year).
Post-race: Super crowded at the finish line. I just left and went to the Hollywood Chic-Fil-A, where they were giving away free food for showing your race bib.
Overall: Great! I’m already registered for next year. The Hollywood star medal is my favorite one in my collection 🙂
