Packet pick up was a breeze! Took the red line to City Walk and spent no more than 15 minutes picking up my packet.
Race day was finally here!!! I woke up early and headed to the shuttle stop, which never showed, but I had plan B so I headed to the start line.
Once I was coming up the escalator I could feel the energy from the happy runners!! It was electrifying! I loved the new course!!!!! Plenty of water stations and crew support. The hills were killer, but hey, its LA and it made it even more challenging and rewarding at the end!! I saw plenty of friendly faces during the course!! I was so happy to see our amazing Race Director at the finish line greeting all the runners! I am one of the slow ones so it made it even more special he was there for everyone. We took some photos and he asked what we thought if the race, and if we had fun, which we did!! Can’t wait to do this again, year after year, after year, after year!! A+ !!!!
