I loved that race!
I had done the 5k in 2010 and this year I ran the half marathon.
Packet pick up: super easy, offered the day before and on race day as well.
Love the tech black shirt. Also got a pin and sticker with race logo: very nice.
Easy FREE parking on race day very close to the start
We had to take busses to get to the start, also easy no waiting for that.
At the top of the canyon, plenty of porta potty. they offered gear check also.
Race started ON TIME at 7:30. Maybe 7:00 would be best because it got hot very fast.
No special ceremony at the start, ok with me.
I loved the first half of the course, running down the canyon, beautiful!
Plenty of water stations with plenty of water, even water bottle to take with you on the run. VERY nice.
All the volunteers were wonderful, also the police dept from the city of Fontana did a great job on the course and were really nice to the runners.
Free massages at the end, free instant picture with race logo, bag with fruit and bars with water for runners…cannot ask for more than that.
Best local race we have here for sure
I have no complains about this one!
