I appreciated the pre-race clinics at the race site. The prerace expo was a community event and really had nothing to do with the race. The course – was a great course. Last year the surf was brutal so several people opted out of the swim. Once that portion was complete it was all easy from there. Very crowded venue as it is right on the highway, on a weekend, in the middle of summer. I would recommend this race to someone who wants to complete a “decent” sprint tri.
