Renegade Santa 5K,10K, & Kids Run

Orange County’s BEST HOLIDAY RUN, the Renegade Santa Run, returns to start at Hick’s Canyon Elementary School. It features a flat and scenic course. You will enjoy running along the Peter’s Canyon bike trail, lined with beautiful trees and landscaping. Walkers are WELCOME! Each finisher will get a cool running Santa finisher’s medal and T-shirt. Renegade Racing is giving prizes to participants who are dressed in the best Santa or Holiday Themed (non-Santa) costume.

Review

This is a fun race. Lots of runners are dressed in their holiday fashions. It is a fun time for the whole family. My kids love this event. If you are looking for a fun family outing during the holidays, maybe you should “Make Room for Santa”.

Review

I did this run in 2008. they give you a christmas ornament at the finish line and the age group awards are pint glasses with their logo and that say you placed in your age group which i really liked, much better than another medal that i will never use and might never look at again.

your typical irvine area course that is nothing too exciting, a little on a trail and a lot on the big boring streets of orange county, it is definatley a hilly course and finishes with about a mile and half of steady downhill which was great for a major reverse split for me in the 10k
