If you were with us, you saw how big and enthusiastic the crowd was for a warm and joyful event. We had a lot of young people with us, with teams and volunteers coming from high schools over a wide range of LA County. The kids from San Gabriel stayed behind to help pick up the 1000 backpacks from Send Silence Packing – a touching tribute to the hundreds of college students lost each year to suicide.
