FREEWAY CLOSURE ALERT – Please note the 405 Southbound freeway between the 605 and Bolsa Chica Rd. will be closed UNTIL 5 a.m. race morning. If you arrive at the closure before 5 a.m., please plan an additional 15 minutes to detour at Westminster Rd.
Please be advised, a portion of the I-405 freeway in Orange County will be closed until 5 a.m., Sunday, February 2. If you are traveling to the Surf City Marathon / Half Marathon, please plan to use the detour listed below.
What will be closed?
• Southbound I-405 freeway will be closed between the I-605 freeway and Bolsa Chica Rd., from 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 to 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2
Recommended Detour: • From the southbound I-405: Exit Studebaker Rd.; left on Westminster Ave.; continue on
Westminster Ave. to access the southbound I-405 freeway.
