You are invited to a FREE group training session to help you prepare for the Costa Mesa Community Run. These free sessions are designed for ALL levels of runners.
Jake Brindle from System Jake Training will be hosting the event. Jake has coached all levels of athletes to help them achieve their goals according to their lifestyles.
SESSION 1: Monday April11 6:00PM (Meet at upper Newport bay nature preserve).
Dynamic warm up protocol followed by a Technique and skill session focusing on trail work. For the advanced runners, I would add some hill reps.
SESSION 2: Thursday April 14 6:15AM (Meet at corner of Santiago and Irvine)
Dynamic warm up. Combo of road and trail running with emphasis on pacing techniques, body position under stress, etc.
SESSION 3: Monday April 18 6:00PM
Training will be in the dirt circular parking lot just parallel with University Drive.
The directions would be: Go on Irvine towards John Wayne airport
Make a right turn on Univerisity Drive
Go down just a bit and make the first right which will go into a circular gravel parking lot. ** Note**this has changed from the Interpretive center as there is better parking in this lot.

Final mental and physical prep for run day! Combo of road and trail running with emphasis on pacing techniques, body position under stress, etc.
We need to get a head count on how many people will be showing up. So if you intend of joining in on the fun, please fill out the form below.
