Fredrick Michael Gibson 5K/10K Run for Depression Awareness
To bring awareness to the community at large about the devastating effects of depression. To shine the light on this mental illness and to be able to help people receive the care and medical treatment and counseling they might need. All proceeds benefit the Free Clinic of Simi Valley’s counseling department.
All registered participants will receive a t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by Oct. 5th, and as supplies last if after date) and a goody bag, plus all kids running the 1K will receive a prize.
***Dogs are allowed (on a leash) and will also receive a special little “swag” to wear!!
There are medals to the top three finishers in each age group for both the 5K and 10K.
Stay after the run and enjoy the Health and Fitness Expo that will be going on from 8am to 12pm.

Virtual Runner
This year we are adding the option to “Virtually Run” with us during our event. we would love for you to support us even if you can’t “be” with us! Whether you do it from your couch or at the beach or while you are eating breakfast…..just take a picture of what you are doing and post it our Facebook page.
Sign up now and you’ll receive the event shirt, goody bag, and a custom medals given to every finisher. You can either pick them up between October 16-November 13th at the Free Clinic. Or, for an extra $10.00 we will mail everything to you.
