Join us for our 2nd annual Enormous Elephant Run: Freestyle Los Angeles at the picturesque Griffith Park on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 to support elephants and The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust USA! This is a fun, family and dog friendly community event with a Vendor Village open to people of all ages and abilities. We are excited to announce that our 2019 run will consist of a 5k and a 10k on a flat course.
At The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT), we work to protect Kenya’s wildlife and wild habitats, including elephants and the land where they roam. At the heart of the DSWT’s work is our successful Orphans’ Project with over 230 orphaned elephants raised through the nursery, with the end goal for each elephant a return to a wild life. The DSWT’s work encompasses a much broader vision too – one that ensures the sustainable protection of wildlife, habitats and communities for future generations. Whether registered to participate or just looking for a way to rally your friends to support Africa’s elephants, we appreciate your efforts!
