High Hopes www.HighHopes.ws is a 501 (c)(3) charitable non-profit organization raising funds to support Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients.
100% of the proceeds go directly to provide scholarship assistance to help economically disadvantaged individuals receive much-needed rehabilitation services at High Hopes to regain their lives. High Hopes is a nationally recognized program dedicated to the rehabilitation and retraining of loved ones who have been devastated by traumatic head injuries, strokes, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

The Candy Land Kids Zone is a magical experience for children of all ages who enjoy participating in the LA Cancer Challenge. Decorated with giant life-sized lollipops, chocolate kisses and gum drops, this whimsical play space includes Halloween crafts, face painting, bounce houses and snacks for kids and parents. Children are also invited to show off their Halloween Costumes early and take a photo in front of our giant lollipop display. Now in its 33rd year, the Dinosaur Dash is a community run, walk, and bike event benefiting the Tustin Public Schools Foundation. There’s something for everyone–a 2k fun run, chip-timed 5k and 10k runs, and Bike Tours for all riding levels (50k, 15k, and a family-friendly 5k).
The finisher medal for the 10k, 5k, and Bike Tour features our unique, student-designed logo.
The 5k and 10k top finishers in each racing age division will receive the official Dino Dash trophy–hand-made by Tustin Unified students. Second- and third-place finishers will receive a medal. The 2k Fun Run and the Bike Tour are not timed and do not have age division awards.
The 50k bike tour is a metric half-century ride that tours Santiago Canyon from the City of Orange side to Foothill Ranch. Riders will skirt the old El Toro Marine Base and the Great Park before returning to The Market Place in Tustin. This tour is recommended for riders age 13 and up. A shorter 15k bike tour is available, as is a family-friendly 5K tour on closed roads. The Bike Tours are not timed.
A free family Expo will offer activities, school fundraising booths, and exhibitors.
The Tustin Public Schools Foundation is a charitable organization that supports the students and teachers of Tustin Unified schools by funding grants, scholarships, and enrichment programs such as after-school sports, robotics, college readiness, Tustin Summer Academy, and more.

IRVINE/OC 5k Turkey TROT: 8:00am Start. This is open to all ages and takes place around the perimeter of the college campus. It’s a speedy course that swings by citrus grove tree’s and some pumpkin patches! it starts and finishes in the same spot so you won’t miss seeing your friends somewhere along the way!
Turkey Feast Combo: 7:30am Start. This is for the those who like extra helpings at Thanksgiving! We love this challenge! Each participant will start at 7:30 with the 1 mile race. You’ll need to complete the 1 mile in 30 minutes so you’ll have time to line up for your second race, the 5k at 8am. You’ll receive 1 shirt and two medals if you complete both races! Rally up! You may pick up your 1 mile medal after your 5k race so you don’t have to run with it!
Gobble Wobble Kids Event: These kids races offer shorter distances if they don’t want to do the 5k. 9:15 A.M: Diaper Dash – 50 yards (3 and under)

The DIRECTV Holiday Bowl presents the 28th annual Port of San Diego Game Day 5K Run/Walk, which takes place along San Diego’s beautiful harbor front, starting at Harbor and Ash. Athletes will run past 10,000 cheering spectators. Runners, families, and spectators can watch the remainder of the parade, which features colorful floats, bands, and huge inflatable characters. All participants receive a finisher medal! Awards are three deep in all divisions.
Have Fun & Win
The Race Awards ceremony will take place at center stage. Awards will be given to the top three male and female 5K finishers in each age division.
Race Day
Race day registration and bib pick-up start at 8:00 am at the corner of Harbor and Ash. Race day registration and bib pick-up close at 9:30 am. There is no pre-race packet pick-up. T-shirts will be handed out at the finish line area, please keep your bib on to receive your shirt & goody bag near the finish line!
Fun at the Finish
Party after the race! Join us for the post-race party. There will be live music and lots of extra munchies, including muffins, bagels, juice, fresh fruit, and much more! You can also watch the remainder of the parade, which features colorful floats, bands, and huge inflatable characters.
