Get your PR in 2024 at the Ventura Marathon
Both the half and full marathons run gently downhill from the Ojai area down to Ventura followed by a post-race festival in the heart of downtown Ventura.
Full Marathon – The race starts in the eclectic town of Ojai, California and finishes in the vibrant beach town of Ventura. The race drops ~900 feet providing a gently downhill course that is crazy fast without the damage of ultra downhill marathons. In 2022 we were California’s 3rd top Boston Marathon Qualifier.
This year’s Full Marathon had over a 25% BQ (Boston Marathon Qualifying) percentage making it one of the top qualifiers in the Country.
Half Marathon – The race starts just South of Ojai, California and winds down roads and the Ojai-Ventura bike path dropping over 500 feet before finishing in Downtown Ventura. The course is FAST and is USATF certified making it a perfect qualifier for the New York Marathon.
Race Perks – We are bringing back favorite racer amenities, including a free waffle breakfast, one free craft beer or drink (adding some non-alcoholic options this year in addition to beer), free race photos, handmade age group awards, and more.
We are excited to see everyone for another fun and fast year!

Join us for the 39th running of the Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS on March 19, 2023. Participants will set out on our course starting at Dodger Stadium and finishing on the Avenue of the Stars in Century City and not only accomplish a personal goal but also support The McCourt Foundation’s mission to build a healthier world. Join us!
The Course: Stadium to the Stars
The 2024 Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS will begin at Dodger Stadium and finish at Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Athletes will enjoy world-class entertainment and celebrate one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world as the course winds through Downtown Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, Hollywood, and more. The course will follow its traditional route until Brentwood, where runners double back on San Vicente, Sepulveda and Santa Monica Blvd before finishing at Avenue of the Stars. This exciting change allows for a more vibrant and interactive finish experience than previously possible. It will provide the opportunity for much greater spectator participation for family and friends with enhanced post-race activities including the Finish Festival with concerts and sponsor activations and puts runners close to hotels, transportation, and nightlife in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the best of LA.
Finish Line Festival
The official post-race celebration is happening at Century Park! Enjoy live entertainment, the Beer Garden presented by Heineken 0.0, and activations from sponsors and partners. The Finish Festival is open to the family, friends, and the general public. All participants 21+ receive one complimentary Heineken or Heineken 0.0.
