The start/ finish will be at the Pleasant Valley Fields Park at the Village At The Park Sports Complex. This course is over the mostly flat Camarillo bike path. No auto traffic to worry about on this course. Post race street tacos too!

The Citrus Heritage Run is a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1-mile kids race on Saturday, January 6, 2024. This unique and “sweet-smelling” course winds through the historic orange groves of the California Citrus State Historic Park in Riverside, CA.
As one of the most scenic course routes in Southern California, you will experience breathtaking views of surrounding mountain ranges and skyline as you inhale the smell of sweet citrus and orange blossoms beginning to bloom. This race is truly one-of-a-kind!
This event is a great tune-up race for 2023. We offer high-quality tech-fabric long-sleeve tees in men’s, women’s, and youth sizes, finisher medals and age group awards. Along the course, you will find entertainment (live bands) and several hydration stops. At the finish line, you will be greeted with music by live bands and post-race refreshments which include freshly squeezed orange juice from a local orange grove, as well as hot food, a celebratory beer and hand-crafted Mimosas!

Our Half Marathon course is roughly 90% on a trail with the remaining 10% on asphalt. Below is a quick overview of the course:
– The start of the course is near the famous Merry Go Round on Fire Road.
– Mile 1: Upper Old Zoo Trail
– Mile 2: Bill Eckert Trail (Hills with beautiful views!)
– Miles 3-5: Mainly downhill on asphalt
– Miles 6 & 7: Rolling Hills (Tetris)
– Mile 8: All downhill
– Miles 9-13: Quick flat trail to the finish!
Our 12K shares the same start line as the Half Marathon.
– Miles 1 & 2: You will pass through the old Griffith Park Zoo and zoom through some hills
– Mile 3: All downhill
– Miles 4-7: Quick flat trail to the finish!

The Palm Desert ½ Marathon & 5K is the Coachella Valley’s original ½ marathon. This iconic race offers athletes a chance to run or walk in perfect winter desert weather with amazing views of the surrounding desert and mountains. The race offers three different distances, with an event for every type of athlete:
- ½ Marathon: The course combines flat, fast sections with some gradual climbs and declines. The route, which you can run or walk, has just enough turns and elevation to keep things interesting, but is flat enough to allow you to break your PR.
- 5K: Test your limits on our completely flat, completely closed course.
- 1k kids run: Kids 13 and under get their own race on a closed course! Parents and guardians can run with them for free or meet them at the finish line!
The race starts and ends at beautiful Palm Desert Civic Center Park, where participants will enjoy activities, food and entertainment. Both the half and full marathons run gently downhill from the Ojai area down to Ventura followed by a post-race festival in the heart of downtown Ventura.
Full Marathon – The race starts in the eclectic town of Ojai, California and finishes in the vibrant beach town of Ventura. The race drops ~900 feet providing a gently downhill course that is crazy fast without the damage of ultra downhill marathons. In 2022 we were California’s 3rd top Boston Marathon Qualifier.
This year’s Full Marathon had over a 25% BQ (Boston Marathon Qualifying) percentage making it one of the top qualifiers in the Country.
Half Marathon – The race starts just South of Ojai, California and winds down roads and the Ojai-Ventura bike path dropping over 500 feet before finishing in Downtown Ventura. The course is FAST and is USATF certified making it a perfect qualifier for the New York Marathon.
Race Perks – We are bringing back favorite racer amenities, including a free waffle breakfast, one free craft beer or drink (adding some non-alcoholic options this year in addition to beer), free race photos, handmade age group awards, and more.
