The event starts at the Claremont Launch Ramp at 5350 E. Ocean Blvd and the course follows along the scenic Long Beach shoreline. Park at the 54th & Claremont lot.
EVENTS
5K Runner-only (humans only) race starts at 8:00am
5K Mutt run (runner/walker plus dog) starts at 9:00am
1K Mutt run (runner/walker plus dog) starts at 9:45am
DOGGIE DO’S and DON’T’s
All breeds of dogs welcome (not just mutts)
Dogs must be leashed and stay on the pedestrian path at all times
Dogs must be well-behaved and non-aggressive with people and other dogs
Dogs must be current on all vaccines
FUN INCLUSIONS AND POST-RACE EVENTS
Adoption event by the Long Beach Animal Care Services at the finish line and post-race festival
Dog tags (“I ran with my best friend”) for all participants
High quality race t-shirt for 1K and 5K participants
Finisher medal for all 5K participants
Post-race celebration at the Belmont Brewing Company at the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier
