Zion Half Marathon

Experience one of the most scenic half marathons in the country at the Zion Half Marathon, hosted by Vacation Races just outside Zion National Park in Southern Utah. This point-to-point race takes runners from the small town of Virgin to Springdale, winding through a spectacular landscape of red-rock cliffs, desert canyons, and sweeping desert vistas.

The course is entirely paved, with a steady, runnable incline that offers a challenge without being overwhelming—perfect for runners of all abilities, from first-time half marathoners to seasoned athletes. Aid stations every 2–3 miles keep you fueled and hydrated along the way, and the race operates cup-free to reduce waste (bring your own hydration option).

After crossing the finish line in Springdale, participants receive a finisher medal and have the chance to celebrate in a town full of local restaurants, shops, and, of course, easy access to explore Zion National Park. With professional organization, stunning scenery, and a festive race weekend atmosphere, the Zion Half Marathon is a must-do destination race that combines fitness with adventure.
