The inaugural Los Angeles Race Against Gun Violence (RAGV) brings together runners, walkers, families, and community members to support organizations working every day to reduce gun violence and strengthen communities.
Founded in Chicago in 2014, Strides for Peace is a nonpartisan nonprofit that celebrates the life-changing work of grassroots organizations. Through the Race Against Gun Violence, participants have helped raise more than $1 million in unrestricted funding while supporting over 300 community organizations nationwide.
After years of success in Chicago, the Race Against Gun Violence is expanding to Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia, giving even more communities the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Participants can choose to support a local Charity Partner through the RAGV fundraising platform, helping provide critical unrestricted funding for community programs and services.
