Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge

Take on the challenge at the Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge! This unique uphill race climbs nearly 2,000 feet in just 3.7 miles, taking participants from the desert floor toward the mountains above Palm Springs.

The course begins at the intersection of Tram Way and Highway 111, with incredible views of the San Jacinto Mountains ahead and the Coachella Valley behind. Whether you choose to race to the top or enjoy the climb at your own pace with an uphill walk, this event offers an unforgettable experience for all fitness levels.

After crossing the finish line, stick around for the post-race festival featuring:

All participants receive a finisher medal, race t-shirt, post-race refreshments, professional chip timing, and a bus ride back down the mountain.
