Palm Desert Half Marathon & 5K

The Palm Desert 1/2 Marathon & 5K returns to the heart of the desert on Sunday, February 15, 2026! Race the Coachella Valley’s only half marathon, or run/walk our flat, fast 5K course. Kids up to 13 years of age can run our 1K kids run. 1/2 marathon & 5K participants receive an official race t-shirt, finisher medal, timing and post-race food. Kids run participants receive a finisher medal and post-race food. This year will be bigger than ever, so register today and join in on the fun!

• ½ Marathon: The course combines flat, fast sections with some gradual climbs and declines. The route, which you can run or walk, has just enough turns and elevation to keep things interesting, but is flat enough to allow you to break your PR.
• 5K: Test your limits on our completely flat, completely closed course.
• 1k kids run: Kids 13 and under get their own race on a closed course! Parents and guardians can run with them for free or meet them at the finish line!

The race starts and ends at beautiful Palm Desert Civic Center Park, where participants will enjoy activities, food and entertainment. All ½ marathon and 5K participants receive a stylish running shirt, awesome finisher medal, post-race food and drink, and a free beer for those over 21 years old. Kids run participants get a medal and post-race food and drink.
