Escape the city and let it rip across the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains on gracious fire roads overlooking the gridlock, down glorious descents towards the Santa Monica Bay, on singletrack sections through the chaparal and with enough vert that you’ll be thankful for the rest of the year.

What a better way to spend Thanksgiving than running in the mountains with friends and family!! Work up that holiday appetite with some trail dirt and vert in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. All courses are 100% on fire roads and singletrack with views spanning the entire Valley, overlooking the Ocean and peeking at the San Gabriels in the far distance.

Central to all of LA County, the race starts at the Top of Reseda Trailhead and heads towards the famous Nike Missile Tower. The 1/2-Marathon turns down Westridge for an epic singletrack descent. The 10k classic races along Dirt Mulholland and turns around at the Nike Tower while the 5k Fun Run and Hike is an all-levels out-and-back.

Take away a soft race shirt, unique finisher medals and amazing race photography that’s included with your entry. The LA Turkey Trail finishes with a thirst-quenching beer garden (21+), delicious vegan-friendly taco breakfast, sports massage treatment by Vision for Enrichment and an awards ceremony for 1/2-Marathon and 10k runners.
