La Jolla Half Marathon

The La Jolla Half Marathon is one of San Diego California’s most picturesque and beautiful point-to-point races.

If you’re looking for a race that delivers both coastal beauty and a legit challenge, the La Jolla Half Marathon should be on your list. This point-to-point course showcases some of the best views in San Diego while testing your legs with one of the area’s most famous climbs.

All finishers who complete the race will receive a custom designed dry tech finisher’s shirt and custom medal at the finish line.

Half Marathon: Starting at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the course follows a coastal route to the summit of Torrey Pines State Park and then rolls atop Torrey Pines mesa. It continues through La Jolla Shores, and finishes at La Jolla Cove.

10K: Starting at the top of the mesa, this San Diego 10K follows a fast, coastal route that bypasses the Torrey Pines climb. The course leads you through the streets of La Jolla Shores and offers a beautiful, net-downhill finish at La Jolla Cove.

5K: For those interested in a shorter option, the La Jolla Shores 5K offers a mostly downhill course and features some of the most beautiful scenic views of the last 3.1 miles of the La Jolla half marathon course.
