JP Blecksmith Memorial 5K

Join us for the JP Blecksmith Memorial 5K, a powerful Independence Day tradition honoring the life and legacy of Marine 2nd Lieutenant J.P. Blecksmith, who was killed in action in Fallujah, Iraq on November 11, 2004, during Operation Phantom Fury. Hosted by the JP Blecksmith Leadership Foundation, this event celebrates leadership, service, and sacrifice—while raising funds for memorial scholarships and veteran support efforts throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

Race Day Options:

• In-Person 5K: Run, jog, or walk through the beautiful tree-lined streets of San Marino.

• Shadow (Virtual) 5K: Participate from anywhere and run in solidarity with our in-person event.
