The Balboa Park 8 Miler is entering its 71st year of competition. Started by San Diego Track Club in 1955 it is now one of the oldest races in the united states. To keep the history of the legendary course only 2,000 participants are permitted entry each year! Join Today to be part of San Diego’s Longest Running Tradition!

Race Day Schedule:
- 6:00AM – Race day packet pick-up
- 7:00AM – Official Start Time
- 9:10AM – Awards Ceremony
- 10:00AM – Event Concludes
Prizes & Awards:
- All Balboa Park 8 Miler finishers will receive a custom medal.
- Additionally we will present age group awards to the following categories (male & female): top 3 overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
